Both servers, were restored some time ago and are stable.
The secondary cause was a failed switch reboot causing a network loop which should not normally be of concern due to how the switches are configured so this will require further investigation.
Due to this, the emergency work on the portal has been impacted which will be resolved shortly.
There was power loss to one rack.
This was restored but appears to have had a knock on impact to a switch causing a wider network issue. This has been isolated and service restored to most.
Two servers remain offline and are being investigated.
We are seeing a loss of a rack in our Reading facility, we are investigating.
This is now concluded.

This work was due to be completed earlier but due to the datacentre power issues this morning, this has been delayed.
It is due to be completed within the next 30 minutes.
Our engineers will be making changes to our external portal infrastructure in relation to CVE-2026-31431 which is affecting most kernel versions.
This involves mitigation measures in addition to those published already as well as base OS upgrades.
Due to the severity of the CVE, this involves a short period of urgent downtime.
