Some systems are experiencing issues.
We would like to give an update on some issues seen in the portal since 3rd November which will have shown itself to be a white screen or a login page.
These have been shown where the connecting (visiting) IP has either been listed or is within a network range associatd with malicious activity.
Due to many emerging threats such as with the most recent PHP exploit widely reported in the media, further protections have being added to all our services.
A number of hosts that we speak with have experienced increased levels of attack since the PHP exloit was released and out of an abundance of caution, we increased the sensitively of the protection in place.
The WAF (web application firewall) has been further tweaked to look at other factors including succesful historic logins to an account so this should mean false positives are reduced.
You may experience Captcha requests when logging in and making changes, in addition that when the system is unsure, it may prevent a login and advise a message your account does not exist, we will then run further checks and release any controls where the request looks genuine.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the belt and braces approach which has cause a small number of customers issues in logging in to the portal.
