We are aware of an issue with incoming email and have raised this with our software vendor.
This issue was cleared early Monday morning.
Mail Guard via cPanel will remain offline and an update on this will be provided in due course.
To help clear the backlog, we have opened up some new mail routes.
This may lead to some mails passing filters that they otherwise would not but we believe that getting mail quicker is more of a priority.
Queues are dropping significantly.
The mail queue is still processing but reducing.
Unfortunately, there is no way to speed this process up but once fully complete, mail will flow normally.
The queues continue to clear and new mail is starting to flow slowly.
This will take several more hours to clear fully.
Once this has been resolved, we will be reviewing our continued use of the Mail Guard back end as the support from the software vendor has been poor and slow and will disseminate the RFO once we have this.
Our vendor continues to investigate.
We have determined the impact is on roughly 10% of hosted domains.
Any mails that are being sent will be deferred and not lost, they will arrive once the current queue has cleared.
We are still awaiting a response from our software vendor but have escalated the issue.
