We're investigating alerts generated regarding DNS problems.
The attack has increased in severity, although mitigated, is impacting queries and has steadily increased during the day.
This is having a negative impact on query times and we're adding further measures to protect the DNS infrastructure.
The attack was directed towards one domain name.
Queries to this domain are being rate limited and DNS performance has now returned to normal.
Work to block the attack is ongoing.
We have confirmed in our logging this appears to be a DDoS attack against our DNS infrastructure and are working to mitigate this.
