Our monitoring has detected some issues to/from BT's network.
This appears to be affecting a large number of BT routes including to downstream customers although from outside our network.
BT have responded advising there was a routing issue in their network with some peers which has since been isolated and resolved.
We will continue to monitor over the next few hours for any repeat.
The network issue appears to be related to BT and re-routing has not improved the situation.
We've let their NOC contacts know and await a response.
Due to reports received, this is affecting John Lewis Broadband and Plusnet/Force9, both part of BT and use the same network.
We have determined the issue is outside our network in a third party transit network.
A priority case has been raised to them and we are attempting to re-route traffic via a different path.
